Adele Casagrande was born in 1897 in Rome, Italy. She became a designer from a young age.
Adele opened her first leather and fur workshop in 1819.
The boutique became successful because of the quality of their bags and furs.
When she married her husband they took the business further by changing the name to Fendi and opening more stores.
The shop became more popular as everyone started to realise how good the quality of the clothes are.
Adele and Edoardo had five daughters Paola, Anna, Franca, Carla and Alda. when Adele passed away in 1954 the five Fendi girls took over the company and decided to take it further by opening more stores and creating a new line of clothes.
